Meet Romeo and Juliet…or as they are more commonly known, Christina and Jamie…but as far as true romantics go, these two fit the bill beautifully! Jamie is actually a published poet and often sits with Christina to read her poetry – how cute is that? – but just as cute for me was watching them playfully messing around, totally at ease in each other’s company which is my definition of true love.
I first met Jamie and Christina a year ago at the lovely Emma and Kerrin’s wedding (click here their beautiful wedding at Parley Manor) where Jamie was the best man. He had the whole congregation in tears reading out a poem he had written especially for them and he let me in on the secret that he was planning to propose to his beautiful girlfriend Christina over the Christmas period. I was immediately envisioning how great they would be to photograph so I was delighted to hear a few months later they wanted to book me.
For their engagement shoot we headed down to Corfe Castle in Dorset to have a look around Morton House, the 16th Century Elizabethan Manor House where they will be getting married and take some images in the charming little village that has the ruins of the Castle as its backdrop. With the sun shining so brightly you’d be forgiven for think their wedding venue was overseas but this was the Dorset countryside at its finest. It also has the quaintest vintage train station complete with steam train passing through so we just had to capture some of our own timeless classics to share with future generations of Vogels 🙂
With just 3 weeks to go until their relaxed and intimate wedding check back soon if you’d like to see more of these two smiley, happy lovebirds!
