We all know those people who light up the room when they walk in, have the biggest smiles and the most infectious laugh. Well, meet two more of them, Rosie and Harold.
I first met Rosie at Brides The Show where I was exhibiting and we couldn’t stop talking, which pretty much set the tone for all our subsequent encounters, so I couldn’t wait to meet Harold and see if his smile was as big and his personality as vivacious. Well, I can’t recall a couple who have laughed quite so much, or quite so hard throughout their engagement shoot and we had an absolute blast together!
Mayfield Lavender farm in Banstead, Surrey was the scene for their very natural and relaxed couples portrait shoot and in mid July was as vibrant and colourful as their personalities – I just love the sea of pinky purple blooms which stretch as far as the eye can see – a true spectacle!
Speaking of spectacles, I am counting the days until their traditional Nigerian wedding in Lagos in November. They have managed to whittle their guest list down to a modest 300 guests so far and with every conversation I get the impression Rosie is breaking me in gently for the craziness that will ensue. As a destination wedding photographer I relish the opportunity to capture something unique and I’m absolutely certain their wedding won’t disappoint. Check back in early December to see more of these addictive and infectious smiles 🙂
What a beautiful couple! And what lovely photos.
