I love designing wedding albums so much to the point that I offer it as a service for couples who didn’t have an album made at the time of their wedding as I whole heartedly believe its the best way to preserve those precious moments to make them last a lifetime. To read more about why, read this previous blog post .
I had the total pleasure of designing three albums for the lovely Gita and Manoj…one for their wedding in Tobago, one for their wedding in London, both of which had two parent albums to complement them, and a third design for their engagement shoot in Trinidad.
As you can imagine with destination shoots like that, and an Indian wedding in the mix, the albums contain a riot of exotic, rich and tropical colours which I just love. Gita and Manoj paid tribute to their glorious colour schemes by choosing a decadent combination of Violet and Grape Micro Suede for the wedding album covers.
Having reviewed a few options, Gita and Manoj sought my advice on which album supplier to go for and I had no hesitation in recommending Queensberry for their supreme quality and finish…even though they’ve seen and handled several of my samples, my client’s expectations are always exceeded when they take delivery of their very own…they seem to fall in love all over again 🙂
Gita and Manoj haven’t seen the albums yet – he is patiently waiting for her to return from her travels so they can view them together (how sweet…he clearly has more patience than me) so I’ll upload a separate post showing the actual album design soon, once they’ve had a chance to view them first…but I’ve included one image as a little sneak peek. I love how the album cover matches the colour of his tie and boutonniere! Its the little details that please me 🙂
Hi,
We recently got married and have all of the pictures from our wedding in high resolution that were taken by a photographer friend. We wanted to get a queensberry art album made up in a large size format with around 200photos. Is this something you would be able to do for us and what would the cost of this be?
Thanks
James
Absolutely James – I’ll be in touch with some details. Thanks for stopping by.
