IMG_9004-1011 What a glorious summer evening for a relaxed, fun-filled engagement shoot with the lovely Nami and Jay.   We headed out to Ashridge Estate  along with about half of the Hertfordshire population it would seem, but thankfully most of them were packing up their picnics  and heading home just as we were arriving so we didn’t have too much of an audience, which I know Jay will be delighted about.

He confessed to being a little camera shy, prefering to be the one taking the pictures but you’d never know it from the images we came away with.  Not surprisingly, he totally relaxed into it when I asked him to lay down and put his head on Nami’s lap – clearly the best seat in the house – and he was a little reluctant to get up afterwards…but then who can blame him?

Nami and Jay are getting married in Bali so looking radiant in the heat was good practice for their big day and  I think they pulled it off beautifully.  And speaking of beautiful, look out for a cameo appearance from their utterly scrumptious baby boy, Noah, who was quite happily observing the show from the wings.  It turns out he’s quite the professional model himself, starring in a few campaigns and catalogues for well known children’s brands and it showed as soon as I pointed the camera at him…boom…he hit me with his showbiz smile…he most definitely “had me at hello!” and if they weren’t so in love with him themselves I’d have been quite happily taking him home with me there and then!
